A Decade of Promise
For ten years, College Promise has expanded opportunity through postsecondary education—growing from 53 programs to more than 450 across all 50 states. What began as a bold idea is now a national movement advancing college access, completion, and economic mobility for thousands of students each year.
Promise programs are powered by strong cross-sector partnerships and a shared commitment to student success. Over the past decade, the movement has evolved beyond access—focusing more intentionally on workforce alignment, credential completion, and pathways to family-sustaining careers.
In 2025, we celebrated this milestone with our 10th Anniversary and Careers Institute at Palo Alto College in the Alamo Colleges District—honoring a decade of impact while charting the next decade of innovation and growth.
