The Kalamazoo Promise began in 2005 with a group of anonymous donors pledging to provide scholarships to all Kalamazoo Public School graduates in perpetuity. KPS graduates who have been enrolled for at least all 4 years of HS are eligible. Depending on length of enrollment, 65% to 100% of tuition and fees are covered. The Promise can be used at any accredited public colleges and universities in Michigan, 15 private colleges, MCTI, and electrical union. The above information is taken from the Program’s website.
