The Power of YOU Program makes the first two years of college available tuition-free, for eligible students. Under this program, the cost of tuition and fees at Saint Paul College or Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) will be covered through state and federal grants and private scholarships. This need-based program supports as many students as possible based available funds in a given year.

Beyond the program’s financial contribution, students are also given access to advising and support services to help them succeed at college. Students must graduate from a partner high school in Spring 2016 to be eligible. Additionally, the combined parent and student adjusted gross income and untaxed income must be less than $75,000 and students must qualify for federal financial aid in addition to taking the ACCUPLACERâ„¢ assessment and satisfy college admission requirements. The above information is taken from the Program’s website.
