The Moorpark College Foundation, in partnership with Moorpark City and school district officials, has launched a Moorpark Promise committee in hopes of creating a scholarship program for local high school graduates who enroll at Moorpark. Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura Colleges are also working together on the Ventura County Community College District application for the California College Promise Innovation Grant released by the state Chancellor’s Office “to support the improvement in successful student transition from high school to college” and to create a district-wide promise program.
