The 13th Year Promise Scholarship program provides all graduating seniors from Cleveland, Chief Sealth International, and Rainier Beach high schools with one year of free in-state tuition at South Seattle College. In addition, free support services assist students during their transition from high school to college. The purpose of the 13th Year Promise Scholarship is to increase access to higher education for our community’s students, particularly those from underrepresented groups (e.g. students of color, low-income students, and first-generation college students).
