Announcing PromiseNet 2016

Announcing PromiseNet 2016

You are invited to attend PromiseNet 2016 in Washington, D.C. on October 24-26 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center!

PromiseNet 2016 is the next landmark event in the national movement to make a college education accessible and affordable for all. Learn more and register here.

At the conference, Promise community stakeholders will come together to discuss local place-based scholarship programs, community economic development models, and efforts to scale College Promise programs through state programs and federal proposals, among other topics.
3 Things to Know About PromiseNet 2016:
1. It is the optimal event for networking: come and meet professionals in the Promise network who can share their experiences with you.
2. It will include field trainings: if you are interested in starting a Promise program you will have the chance to attend trainings led by established programs. Learn how to start a Promise–and how to sustain one.
3. It is an opportunity to learn and share ideas: talk with practitioners and policy professionals about best practices for Promise programs, including design, funding, marketing, evaluation, and management.

You can participate in three breakout sessions during PromiseNet 2016. To guide your selection, there are five breakout tracks to fit your interests. We encourage you to follow one track for all three sessions, or build your own experience. Click here to learn more about the tracks.

The PromiseNet 2016 website is now live! Check here for more information about the conference and to register.

We hope you will join us in Washington D.C. this fall!
